Resilience is taught through the Learning to BREATHE program.  It is a research-based program that has helped thousands of adolescents across the country reduce stress, improve attention, manage emotions and practice healthy habits of mind and body. This mindfulness program is structured around six themes that form the acronym BREATHE, and each theme has a core message. (The BREATHE core lessons are Body, Reflection, Emotions, Attention, Tenderness, Healthy Mind Habits & Empowerment.) This 6-week course will bring new awareness and skills to our youth as they develop critical skills at a pivotal time in their life that will serve them through teens and adulthood.
