Meet Beth Young

As the heart and soul of 5 Pillars of Health, Beth Young brings deep insight and personal experience to her role as a healthy lifestyle coach and wellness educator. Her journey to becoming a health and wellness coach was profoundly shaped by her own healing experience following a traumatic brain injury from a serious car accident in 2021. This challenging period deepened her understanding of the human body’s amazing ways of healing and reinforced her commitment to holistic wellness practices and integrative health approaches.

From her roots in Arizona to raising her family in Texas, where she survived multiple hurricanes and participated in emergency response efforts, Beth has developed a unique perspective on resilience and personal growth. As a Master Gardener and former Dale Carnegie Team Member, she brings diverse expertise to her wellness coaching practice. Her achievements include serving on the Board of Clear Lake Council of Businesswomen and receiving the Houston Women in Excellence Award.

Beth’s mission as a health coach embraces the wisdom of Lao Tzu: “When the student is ready the teacher will appear. When the student is truly ready… The teacher will disappear.” When not educating and inspiring others toward their best self through transformative retreats, keynote presentations, and wellness coaching sessions, Beth enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, and spending time with her family, including her five adult children and two grandchildren.

5 Pillars of Health

Each pillar has an impact on the health of our mind and body. These pillars include nutrition, movement, relationships, quality sleep and mindfulness.  In our healthy living classes, as each pillar is discussed, several simple changes are outlined, and attendees are encouraged to consider at least one simple change to implement in their life.

Group & Individual Coaching

We offer group and individual wellness coaching. It is a 6-week program where education precedes mindset change. A 5 Pillars of Health Certified Coach guides you through scientifically proven physical and emotional wellness resources and tools.  With your Wellness Coach, you’ll overcome your personal obstacles and rebuild your relationship toward health itself, easily and naturally, and without restrictive diets or exhausting workouts.  Together, you’ll work with each component of your health and the results you’re getting to change your life for the better.  

Corporate Wellness

We work with businesses to develop a custom health and wellness plan that inspires their employees to make healthy living lifestyle changes. As we collaborate with employees to assess their best next steps and set a plan for success, it impacts the mental and physical health of their staff. We provide weekly refueling and relaxation classes where we focus on and set goals related to one of the 5 Pillars of Health then practice Tai Chi and relaxation techniques.
Note: Our classes are approved for the Custom Fit reimbursement Program. Companies in Utah are eligible for partial reimbursement through this program.
